Fixed and mobile archive shelving systems by AZ Solution
AZ Solution offers fixed and mobile archive shelving systems for efficient document storage in offices and warehouses. Our solutions ensure better organization and quick access to archives.
Mobile shelving systems are rail-mounted units that enable maximum use of available space and increase storage capacity without requiring additional floor area.
All systems feature a durable metal construction and can be manufactured according to the client’s specific requirements. They are suitable for both small rooms and large-scale archive facilities.
With our experience, AZ Solution provides reliable solutions for better organization and secure storage of documents and archives.
Safety and functionality requirements for mobile shelving systems:
- The rails are modular. Welding is not allowed (to avoid metal deformation caused by high temperatures).
- Rail width is 60 mm and height is 14 mm, ensuring proper load distribution. Thin metal plates of 4–5 mm thickness are not acceptable as rails.
- Mobile units are equipped with wheels. Bearings are not permitted to be used as wheels. Wheel diameter is 120 mm to ensure smooth movement of the shelving units.
- Movement is manual via a chain mechanism. Each system must include a dedicated chain connected to the main rail. This ensures smooth operation regardless of load distribution between modules. Otherwise, twisting of the shelving system or derailment may occur.
The floor-mounted chain also provides additional safety and limits the possibility of movement of the mobile shelving caused by its own weight or by settling of the concrete slab underneath.
The specific contact design between the concave wheel and the raised rail prevents the shelving unit from coming off the track. This system is not случайно (by chance) used in train compositions for the same reason.
The frames are solid-walled. They are manufactured from a single sheet of metal, without any composite or assembled elements, which eliminates the risk of gaps at the connection points.
They are fully powder-coated, including the bent areas, in order to prevent corrosion from starting in unpainted internal sections.
- Diagonal bracing is included, providing earthquake resistance.
7. Each mobile shelving unit is equipped with locking buttons to prevent movement of the shelves when a person is present in the aisle.
Frequently Asked Questions about Archive Shelving Systems
Mobile office shelving systems are rail-mounted storage units that can be moved, allowing maximum use of available space by eliminating the need for permanent aisles.
Fixed shelving systems are stationary and require permanent access aisles between rows, while mobile systems can be moved, providing significantly higher storage capacity.
Depending on the configuration, up to 50% more usable space can be achieved, or a significant increase in overall storage capacity.
Yes, mobile shelving systems are especially effective in limited spaces, as they optimize every available area.
